COBIT was first published in 1996, has developed over the years to become, with COBIT 2019,
a leading framework for the governance and management of enterprise information and
related technologies.
COBIT 2019 is a flexible, fit-for-purpose, and open framework aligned with major relevant
standards, frameworks, and regulations.
The successful adoption of COBIT 2019 ensures maximum benefit realization from IT-enabled
investment, with optimal use of resources while keeping risks at acceptable levels. COBIT
has evolved since 1996, when ISACA released the first edition of the COBIT framework.
This course prepares candidates for the COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate exam and is designed to provide a practical understanding of how to apply the COBIT framework to real-world
organizations.
